The principle

A thermal camera makes visible what the eye cannot perceive: temperature differences on a building's surface reveal what's hiding behind the finishes, heat loss, infiltrations, insulation defects, moisture.

What thermography detects

Thermal bridges and heat loss, air and water infiltration, missing, shifted, or wet insulation, and system anomalies. All costly problems that remain invisible during a standard visual inspection. Thermography is a non-destructive analysis method: no wall openings. Its reliability depends on measurement conditions, notably a sufficient temperature difference between inside and outside, which we validate before intervening.

There's no strict minimum area, but thermography becomes particularly cost-effective for roofs over 500 m². For smaller surfaces, a traditional visual inspection may be enough.

What's the difference between roof thermography and envelope thermography?

Roof thermography detects moisture and problems under the roof membrane. Envelope thermography analyzes walls, windows, and facades to identify thermal bridges, air leaks, and insulation problems.
